This piece is for anyone who has overcome or is working to overcome.  Illness, trauma, abuse, addiction, loss.  This messy gritty little painting is an inspirational prayer of sorts.  We all prefer easy, I am sure.  But easy is soft and vulnerable.  Easy is a baby.  She does not know what she can do.  When you lose easy, simple, hopeful times and you are tested.  You learn what you are made of.  You grow stronger.  That is the gift.  That strength and determination and courage you can only find in battle.  Leads to an entirely new level of peace and confidence and faith.
